CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) 
PER DIEM

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a professional member of the home care team who works directly with a client and their family to meet the client’s personal needs, to promote the client’s comfort, and a safe environment.  The CNA is responsible for observing clients and reporting/documenting these observations and the services provided.
 QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Educational Preparation:
    • Completed a CA approved nursing assistant training program 
    • Graduated from an approved nursing education program 
    • Passed the CNA State Exam 
    • Current CPR Certification
  2. Experience:
    1. Minimum one (1) year experience in a health care facility setting or
    2. Minimum one (1) year experience in one-on-one care with client in clients home
  3. Complete a national criminal background check and in good standing on the CA Department of Social Services Home Care Aide Registry.
  4. Active driver’s license in good standing and current automobile insurance; Ability to travel to client residences.
  5. Demonstrate a sympathetic attitude towards the care of the sick, ability to carry out directions, maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
  6. Be at least 18 years of age
  7. Demonstrate sufficient communication and language skills to enable them to perform their duties and interact effectively with clients and other agency staff.
  8. Prolonged or considerable walking or standing.  Able to lift, position or transfer patients.  Able to lift supplies and equipment.  Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling or crouching.  
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assisting clients with personal grooming and hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, dressing and bathing.
  2. Assisting clients in and out of bed and assisting with ambulation.
  3. Nutrition/hydration, and assisting clients with eating.
  4. Assisting clients with toileting and elimination.
  5. Performing household services essential to health care at home which will facilitate the client's self-care at home and are necessary to prevent or postpone institutionalization.
  6. Reminding and tracking medications which are ordinarily self-administered.
  7. Performing other activities delegated by assessment coordinator.
  8. Reporting changes in the client's condition to main office and with family, as needed.
  9. Completing records regarding services performed.
  10. ​Participates in the agency on-call schedule as required.
  11. Maintains good work ethics by being reliable and displays a positive and cooperative attitude.
  12. ​ Performs other duties as requested.

MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION DRIVER
PER DIEM

Our drivers have some experience in working with various clients who have cognitive and physical needs. They are also a professional member of the home care team who works directly with a client and their family to meet the client’s personal needs, to promote the client’s comfort, and a safe environment.  Our drivers are responsible for observing clients, assisting clients from their homes to their appointments, and at times provide companionship and assistance through the appointment and making sure the client is back home safely. 
 QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Educational Preparation:
    • High School diploma
    • Current CPR Certification
  2. Experience (Recommended):
    1. Minimum one (1) year experience in a health care facility setting or
    2. Minimum one (1) year experience in one-on-one care with client in clients home
  3. Complete a national criminal background check and in good standing on the CA Department of Social Services Home Care Aide Registry.
  4. Active driver’s license in good standing and current automobile insurance.

PERSONAL TRAINER - FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
PER DIEM-AFTERNOON SHIFT

Our trainers have some experience in working with various clients who have cognitive and physical challenges/needs. They are also a professional member of the home care team who works directly with a client and their family to meet the client’s fitness goals, promote the client’s comfort, and a safe environment.  Our trainers are responsible for observing clients, teaching clients exercise techniques, working directly with the Program Director, following plan provided by Program Director, and at times provide companionship and assistance through the appointment and making sure the client is safe and empowered at all times. 
 QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Educational Preparation:
    • High School diploma
    • Associate's degree in related field
    • Bachelor's degree in related field
    • Current CPR Certification
    • Personal Training Certification from accredited organization
      • ​ACSM Certification is a plus
  2. Experience (Recommended):
    1. Minimum one (1) year experience in a health care facility setting or
    2. Minimum one (1) year of experience in a health care setting or
    3. Minimum one (1) year of experience personal training in a gym
    4. Experience in working with people with cognitive or physical impairment is a plus. 
  3. Complete a national criminal background check and in good standing on the CA Department of Social Services Home Care Aide Registry.
  4. Demonstrate a sympathetic attitude towards the care of the sick, ability to carry out directions, maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.

SALARY 

Established Senior Services business for 4+ years is expanding its services throughout Santa Barbara and looking to hire a seasoned and experienced Home Care Sales Representative.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet and make presentations with independent living facilities, hospitals, rehab facilities, nursing homes, senior and assisted living facilities, case managers, discharge planners, physicians and long-term insurance companies in order to develop new and ongoing relationships with revenue streams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate must have 3 years proven experience and documented results in working with clients and case managers in multiple settings as described above.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Healthcare Sales experience in Homecare, Durable Medical Equipment and Medical Supplies
